General Motors Company (GM) is among the world's largest full-line vehicle manufacturers. GM designs, manufactures, assembles, and sells automobiles, trucks, and related parts and accessories. GM became involved again in finance operations through the October 2010 acquisition of AmeriCredit Corp. (subsequently renamed General Motors Financial Company, Inc.).
