Desjardins Group

Desjardins Group is the largest financial institution in Québec and the largest co-operative financial group in Canada. It is composed of a co-operative network (the caisses network), corporate financial centres and a variety of subsidiary companies, including the Fédération des caisses Desjardins du Québec and Capital Desjardins inc., the latter of which issues securities in the capital markets. Desjardins Group also operates a significant insurance franchise through which it offers life, property and casualty insurance in Canada.
