RioCan Real Estate Investment Trust (the Trust) is one of the largest real estate investment trusts in Canada with over 210 income-producing properties representing approximately 34.0 million square feet (sf) of retail net leasable area (NLA) and 2.0 million sf of office NLA. The Trust's portfolio is located primarily in Ontario, Alberta and Québec and mainly consists of unenclosed community shopping centres, several enclosed malls and mixed-use (i.e., retail, office and multifamily) assets.
