TransAlta Corporation (TAC) is a non-regulated electric independent producer with over $9.0 billion in assets. TAC directly owns over 5,500 megawatts (MW) of net generating capacity and indirectly owns over 2,500 MW of net capacity through its approximately 60% ownership of TransAlta Renewables Inc. TAC has generation plants in Canada, the U.S., and Australia.
