DBRS Morningstar Discontinues Ratings on Kinder Morgan Canada Limited and Kinder Morgan Cochin ULC

DBRS Limited (DBRS Morningstar) discontinued and withdrew the Issuer Rating of Kinder Morgan Cochin ULC (KMC) and the Preferred Shares – Cumulative rating of Kinder Morgan Canada Limited (KML; together with KMC, the Company). These rating actions are at the Company’s request and are unrelated to the credit profile of the Company. The discontinuation of the ratings follows the close of Pembina Pipeline Corporation’s (Pembina, rated BBB with a Stable trend by DBRS Morningstar) acquisition of KML on December 16, 2019, which resulted in the exchange of KML’s Preferred Shares with Pembina’s Preferred Shares.
