DBRS Morningstar Publishes Final Canadian Government Pooled Lending Vehicles Appendix to the “General Corporate Methodology”

DBRS Morningstar finalized its “General Corporate Methodology.”

This methodology presents the rating approach (in each appendix) through which certain specific issuers or industry sectors are rated. In particular, a new appendix was added outlining how DBRS Morningstar ratings for Canadian government pooled lending vehicles are assigned and/or monitored.

No comments were received during the comment period and no ratings will change as a result of this new appendix.

The methodology supersedes the prior version published on April 24, 2020, and is effective as of April 30, 2021.

All comments received during the request for comment period have been published to the DBRS Morningstar website, except in cases where confidentiality is requested by the respondent.
