European Nonperforming Loan Securitisations Performance - 2021 Update

Following the outbreak of Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) in the first quarter of 2020, the European NPL sector has undergone significant disruptions. The effects of the pandemic on the recovery process, such as the slowdown of the legal system, have negatively affected the performance of NPL portfolios and led servicers to formulate more conservative views on recovery expectations for the near future.
