DBRS Morningstar Discontinues Ratings on Stratton Mortgage Funding 2019-1 plc

DBRS Ratings Limited (DBRS Morningstar) discontinued its ratings on the Class A, Class B, Class C, Class D, and Class E notes (collectively, the Notes) issued by Stratton Mortgage Funding 2019-1 plc.

The discontinuations reflect the full repayment of the Notes on the 25 August 2022 payment date. Prior to their repayment in full, the ratings and the outstanding principal balances on the Notes were as follows:

-- Class A rated AAA (sf); GBP 215,571,087.19
-- Class B rated AA (high) (sf); GBP 12,260,000.00
-- Class C rated A (sf); GBP 15,325,000.00
-- Class D rated BBB (sf); GBP 15,325,000.00
-- Class E rated B (high) (sf); GBP 16,347,000.00

The transaction is a securitisation of first-lien owner-occupied and buy-to-let residential mortgages granted to borrowers in the UK. Please refer to https://www.dbrsmorningstar.com/issuers/23920 for more information.

ENVIRONMENTAL, SOCIAL, GOVERNANCE CONSIDERATIONS
There were no Environmental/Social/Governance factors that had a significant or relevant effect on the credit analysis.

The principal methodology applicable to the ratings is the “Master European Structured Finance Surveillance Methodology” (19 May 2022).

In DBRS Morningstar’s opinion, a discontinued-repaid rating action does not warrant the application of the entire principal methodology, as the bonds have been repaid in full.

DBRS Morningstar did not rely upon third-party due diligence in order to conduct its analysis.

At the time of the initial ratings, DBRS Morningstar was supplied with third-party assessments. However, this did not impact the rating analysis.

DBRS Morningstar considers the data and information available to it for the purposes of providing these ratings to be of satisfactory quality.

The last rating action on this transaction took place on 24 September 2021, when DBRS Morningstar confirmed its ratings on the Class A, Class B, Class C, Class D, and Class E notes at AAA (sf), AA (high) (sf), A (sf), BBB (sf), and B (high) (sf) respectively.
